The Online Educator

Distance education is a hot topic in both universities and the K-12 arena. Individual schools, as well as education graduate programs, are thirsting for more information on the subject and are beginning to actively explore how to use their sources of the Internet to provide distance courses. Though many institutions have been involved in distance education for the past two decades (through correspondence or videos), they now find themselves desiring to take advantage of the Internet as a delivery mechanism. However, most institutions are ill-prepared to do so. Consequently, school administrators and faculty are looking for resources to help them move quickly into the Internet education market.
